The starting point.
M-Art is a new professional makeup academy in Geneva, with strong principles of inclusivity. It was founded by an active professional with over twenty years of experience in performance, luxury cosmetics, and artistic events. The starting point is clear, to teach the profession, not just the technique. Rigour in preparation, a structured curriculum, a real understanding of how the industry operates.
M-Art covers makeup in all its forms, beauty, transformation, events and festivals, editorial and artistic, theatre, cinema, luxury cosmetics. The commitment is to a professional, inclusive, and supportive environment, open to beginners, self-taught, and practising professionals. Beyond technique, the academy cultivates confidence, artistic voice, professional presence, and long-term purpose.
What it needed to solve.
- Translate complex brand principles, holistic teaching, inclusivity, professional depth, into coherent copy and imagery, without reducing the offer to slogans.
- Build strategic lead mechanisms for a new academy that needs to grow a student base.
- Give the client editorial autonomy to update parts of the site without contacting us, without opening the gate to layout and image decisions.
Three decisions that shaped the project.

Copy and visuals at the level of the principles
The copy was designed to reflect the central positioning, teaching the profession in its full scope, and the editorial presence honours inclusivity without turning it into decoration.

Lead magnets as part of the strategy, not as an extra
Marketing strategies with lead magnets integrated into the site. Valuable content, custom forms, chained email automations. So the academy can start receiving enrolment interest.

Admin dashboard for editorial autonomy
We built a custom admin dashboard so the client can edit texts on selected pages directly, with no dependency on a headless CMS. What should be editable is editable. Typography, grid, and campaign images stay locked. The academy operates with autonomy, without losing coherence.

An editorial presence, not a service catalog.
Editorial makeup has its own vocabulary. Serif typography with detail, a grid that breathes, imagery that dominates when it needs to. We brought that vocabulary into the site.
The result is a site that feels more like a publication than a brochure. The academy positions itself alongside the magazines their students already read.



What shipped.
A multilingual institutional website aligned with the brand principles, lead magnets and email automations bringing in students from launch, and a custom admin dashboard so the client can edit texts without contacting us. We host the website, two domains, ecoledemaquillage.ch and m-art.ch, and the professional email. The academy starts with the entire digital operation on the same side.
